The Apparel Process

A behind-the-scenes view of our apparel production.
We produce two main collections a year, consisting of Summer/Spring and Fall/Winter. All our collections have made-to-order pieces that are produced in our studio in Cow Bay, Nova Scotia. Our conscious choice to keep our products made in-house and use a made-to-order business model eliminates waste in a heavily wasteful industry and allows us to keep a close eye on our quality. Once an order is placed, it is handmade for you.

Our garments are designed with surfers in mind. We design our clothing to be worn pre/post-surf sessions or around town.

Meet the Designer
For as long as I can remember I have always loved fashion and the thought of creating my own brand.
​
I graduated from Humber College in Toronto, with a business degree and a specialization in Fashion Management. Once finishing school I knew I needed to get back to my creative roots of designing and sewing, a true passion.
​
I joined the Whit Surf team full-time in 2019. This is where I started creating board bags out of dead-stock material and we launched our first clothing collection. Year after year my collections get bigger and bigger.
