The SMW (Seymour Waves) was designed with team rider Seymour Wood. Seymour came into the shop one day saying he was looking for something that would get him into smaller summer waves easily but then would light up when the wave had some punch to it. We bounced a few ideas around and ended up with the first version, The Green Machine. That board flew on pointbreaks and surfed great in small waves but something was holding him back when the waves got a little more size and he wanted to get more vertical and throw airs. We took the attributes he loved in the original and threw it in a new performance outline. The new SMW features a more hybrid outline with a fishy nose and a swallowtail but the concaves under the feet are super aggressive allowing for crazy amounts of drive and maneuverability. 

 

The original Green Machine was too good to just throw away so every once in a while an OG will make its way onto the shelf or can be custom ordered. 

 

Fine Set-Up

Stock boards come with a five fin set up but if you know your style, we suggest choosing thruster or quad to save the weight in the tail and feel the full performance of the board.

Waves 

The SMW was designed to be a small wave performance board. In dumpy beach break waves, we suggest this board for knee to chest high but on pointbreaks, this works from knee to slightly overhead waves.
